about

Here are 117 songs from a five-year period where I focused mostly on instrumental music. Many more tracks were recorded during this time. These are some of the ones that were collected into digital albums, plus two compilations.

The tracks are in rough chronological order by release, except the last two sets which are compilations ranging from the entire period, but focusing mostly on 2011-2013.

I was originally written in 2010, remixed and slightly re-arranged in 2011 and released in early 2012 with the title "Uncle Narratologist."
II was originally written in 2012 for an album called "Ether Ore: Live in Sequence!" and was gradually reworked, with new songs being added in 2013. It was finally resequenced in 2017, but all the songs are from 2012-2013.
III was written in mid-2013 and sequenced twice. This is the second sequencing of those tracks.
IV & V were originally released as three short LPs named "Hikkikomori Melodies" 1-3, and were eventually resequenced into this order. They were mostly written in late 2013, with a couple written in 2014, and remixed and sequenced in 2014. "Escape Hatch to Simpler Pleasures" was written in 2015 and added to the 2014 sequence near the end.
